Still got a question?
Are you NAPIT registered?
Yes — I'm a NAPIT-registered Domestic Installer, which means I can self-certify Part-P notifiable work directly with Building Control. You'll get a compliance certificate posted to you after any qualifying job.
How quickly can you come out?
For emergencies (no power, burning smells, sparks) I aim to be on site within two hours across Southampton. Diary work is usually quoted within 24 hours and booked within the following week.
Do you give written quotes?
Yes — anything more than a single hour's work I'll send a written, itemised quote so you know exactly what you're paying for and what's included. No deposits required.
Are you insured?
Yes — £5,000,000 public liability and full professional indemnity cover. I can send proof of cover to your insurer or letting agent on request.
Card or cash?
Both. I take Visa, Mastercard and Amex on a card reader, BACS by bank transfer, or cash. No card surcharge.
Will you tidy up after the job?
Always. Tidy-up is part of the price — dust-sheets down on furniture, hoovered when finished, all packaging taken away with me.
