Upgrading from a wired-fuse or older split-load board is one of the best safety upgrades you can do. I supply MK, Hager or Wylex to suit, label every circuit, and leave you a Part-P certificate.

Tripping RCDs, dead circuits, flickering lights — tracked down and fixed.
Most fault calls I diagnose within an hour. I use proper insulation and loop testers, find the cause rather than papering over it, and explain exactly what was wrong before I leave.

Full periodic inspection, sample test of every circuit, written report by the next working day. Required every 5 years for rentals; I work with letting agents and house-sale solicitors directly if it helps.

Portable appliance testing for landlords, businesses and letting agents.
I test and tag portable appliances to ensure they are safe for use. Ideal for landlords furnishing a rental, businesses with office equipment, or anyone who has bought second-hand appliances. You get a pass/fail certificate for each item and a full register.

Smart home and automation
Smart lighting, heating controls, security and voice-control systems installed cleanly.
I install and wire smart home systems including Philips Hue, Lutron, Nest, Hive and Ring. Whether it is a single smart switch or a whole-house setup with voice control and energy monitoring, I will make sure the wiring is done properly and the system works the way you want it to.
